The pure essential oil blends in this section are available
in 10 ml. cobalt blue glass bottle with a tamper-proof
top or 10 ml. clear flint glass bottle with roll-on
applicator, easy to carry with you for daily application. |

All these blends are
ready to use and nothing needs to be added. These can be
used as perfume oils as well as for specific healing. All
necessary information is on the label.

Essential oils are
the fragrant and therapeutic oils that can be extracted from
flowers, herbs, fruits, seeds, resins, needles, and roots.
This oil is the essence or soul of the plant. They are extracted
by steam distillation, cold-pressed, or CO2 extraction. These
oils are used for healing as well as fragrance.
These essential oil blends are
diluted in jojoba oil. Jojoba is a smooth, non-greasy oil
of the jojoba plant of the Southwest. It is closest to
sebum, humans' natural skin oil. It is high in Vit. E,
proteins, minerals, and has a 100-year shelf life. It is
an exceptional carrier for essential oils.
Essential oils are often diluted
in a carrier oil for two reasons:
First, many oils (like rose, jasmine,
and Indian sandalwood) are cost prohibitive -- by diluting
the essential oils, the therapeutic value is still present
and the cost is considerably less.
Second, many oils are very strong
in their pure form and could cause a skin rash. It is often
recommended to do a skin patch test with a pure essential
oil first. |
